mein bolun, to meri aavaz usse kheenche
jaise koi bhoola hua khwab phir usne seenche

pal bhar me khel, pal bhar me hasi
pal bhar ka ho bhram, pal bhar me udasi

har pal ek nayi koshish,
har baar ek nayi harkat
man me jaise laakhon chahat,
har pal liye ek naye karvat

masti-khor ka khitab tha paya,
dekhte hi dekhte phir buni maya,
khushiyan thi jis pal se vo aaya
sab ke khayalon me tha vo chaaya

adharon par aadhi muskaan,
jaise ham par hua tha vo meharban
par soch liya tha usne aaj, ek
muskaan ke liye karega pareshan

apni aankhon se batiyaye koi nayi masti

har baar jiske jaal mein phasti, jag mein,
jug mein, kahin na dekhi ho aisi hasti
