woh mera dost hai
jo har pal har din mere saath hai
uski adayen aisi ke
har koi kahe ki us mein kuch baat hai

uske kayi dost hai
par woh sirf mera humraaz rahega
woh ek musaafir hai
par jab mein chalun, toh mere saath chalega

usme koi aag hai
jo har pal mujhe thandak dekar kahega
usme koi daag hai
par woh mujhe hamesha bedaag dikhlaayega

kabhi adhura kabhi pura
par jab mein usse dekhun, woh sirf mujhe dekhta hai
woh din mein sota hai, raat mein jaagta hai
par surya ke kiranon me khud ko sekta hai

main jahan bhi rahun, woh mera humkadam rahega
main jo bhi karun, woh mera wafadar rahega
mere har paighaam ko apne saath liye chalega
mere har koshish ka nispaksh gawah banega

woh na dikhe, to usse dhoondhe meri aankhen
woh na rahe, to andhera har taraf se jhaanken
mein ruth jaon, toh woh masti se mujhe ched jaaye
mein muskuradun, toh khushi se woh chamak jaaye

jisse mera purana rishta
woh mera apna farishta
mujhme jo hai
jisme mein hun

woh mera chaand hai
jo mera dost hai
